Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, performing vital signs, and record information in EMR system
• Prepare patients for procedures
• Update appropriate lab logs
• Serve as a liaison between physicians and other individuals, such as patients
• Copy and mail requests for medical records ensuring HIPAA compliance
• Function as a team member, including being flexible, able to work additional hours when needed, and providing backup
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Other tasks as requested by supervisor

Experience (Preferred)

• Medical terminology: 1 year and prior experience as a medical scribe

Clinic hours

• 9am – 5:30pm, every day

Summary
The Medical Scribe (Bilingual: Russian) position requires fluency in both English and Russian, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to accurately transcribe medical documentation in both languages. Experience with EMR and EHR systems, along with a background in medical office procedures, anatomy, and physiology, are essential for success in this role. Additionally, proficiency in typing and a familiarity with ER procedures are valuable assets. The Medical Scribe will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient medical documentation, supporting healthcare providers in delivering quality patient care.

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
